Diamond is a crystalline solid.Does it have a sharp melting point? please explain.

In crystalline solids like diamond, the atoms are arranged in a regular orderly fashion and hence they have sharp and characteristic melting points.

Whereas, amorphous solids, due to random arrangement of the atoms do not have sharp melting points.
