Expert Answer:

Let the radius of the wheel be r.
distance covered by wheel in one revolution = distance moved/ number of revolutions = 11/ 5000 km = 11 * 1000 * 100 / 5000 cm = 220 cm
Circumference of the wheel = 220 cm
So, 2 * pi * r = 220
This gives r = 35 cm
So, diameter = 2r = 70 cm
Thus, the diameter of the wheel is 70 cm.
