1) Water from salt
Method: Distillation
Principle: Distillation is the method of getting a pure liquid from a solution by evaporation and then condensing the vapour of the liquid having a low boiling point.

2)Iron filings from mixtures of iron and sulphur:

Method: Magnetic Separation
Principle: This method is based on the magnetic and non-magnetic properties of solid particles. It involves the separation of magnetic particles from non-magnetic particles using a magnet.

3) copper sulphate and copper sulphate solution:

Method: Crystallisation
Principle: This method is based on the differences in the solubility of solids in a liquid. The process of formation of crystals from a hot saturated solution caused by cooling is called crystallisation.

4) oil from water:

Method: Separating funnel
Principle: It is a simple device used to separate the components of a liquid-liquid heterogeneous mixture. This method is based on the separation of a mixture of two immiscible liquids containing a heavy and a light liquid.

5) how can you separate a mixture of sand, husk, and water:

Method: Gravitation
Principle: This method is used only when one of the components is much heavier than water and the other component is much lighter than water.
