Dear student
A current carrying coil placed perpendicularly in a magnetic experiences a force called Lorentz force; whose value is given by,
F = K BIl
Here, B = Intensity of magnetic field
I = Current flowing in the conductor
l= length of the conductor inside the magnetic field
Where, K is a constant whose value depends on the choice of units. In SI units K =1.
