Derive an expression for electric energy consumed ina device in terms of V, I and t where v is the potential difference applied to it, I is the current drawn by it and t is the time for which the current flows????? Plz help me out wid diz!!!!!

Energy is given as product of power and time.
E = Pt
Hence, electrical energy consumed will be electrical power multiplied by time.
Now, electrical power consumed by a device is given as product of voltage and current.
P = VI
Hence, the electrical energy consumed in time t is,
E = Pt = VIt
