Define eutrophication and biological magnification?

Eutrophication refers to the excessive richness of nutrients in a lake or other body of water, frequently due to runoff (animal waste, fertilizers, sewage) from the land, which causes a dense growth of plant life and death of animal life from lack of oxygen.
Biological magnification is the increasing concentration of a substance, such as a toxic chemical, in the tissues of organisms at successively higher levels in a food chain. As a result of biomagnification, organisms at the top of the food chain generally suffer greater harm from a persistent toxin or pollutant than those at lower levels.
