Combination reaction: When two or more reactants combone to give a single product are called combination reactions.

Decomposition reaction: When a single product decomposes to  give more than one product , the reaction is called decomposition reaction.

Displacement reaction: It is a reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its salt solution.

Doble displacement reaaction: It is a reaction in which exchange of ions takes place between two compounds.
