Decomposition of iron sulphate is a thermal decomposition reaction. Since it is a redox reaction oxidation state of Fe in different in reactant(FeSO4) and product (Fe2O3) . In this reaction Fe(II) is oxidised to Fe(III) and S(VI) is reduced to S(IV) in SO2
