The defination of an onto function is:A function f:X?Y is said to be an onto function if for every
yY,there exists an elemeny xX,such that f(x)=y.
In simple words,we can say if every element of Y is the image of some element of X under f, then function is onto.
Morever, f:X?Y is onto iff Range f=Y.
