construct a ∆PQR in which PQ=PR= 5cm and QR = 6cm measure angle Q and angle R. what do you observe

Draw a line segment QR = 6 cm
Taking centre as Q, draw an arc with radius 5 cm above QR.
Taking centre as R, draw an arc with radius 5 cm cutting the previous arc at point P.
Join PQ and PR.
Triangle PQR is the required triangle.
 
After measuring the angles, we get
angle Q = 53.5o and angle R = 53.5o
 
Since, angle Q = angle R
So, PQR is an isosceles triangle.
