The following is called the triangular inequality of complex numbers
Complex numbers can be represented on real numeber line.
Pictorial depiction of the triangular inequality is the following.
The triangle inequality is useful in mathematical analysis for determining the best upper estimate on the size of the sum of two complex numbers, in terms of the sizes of the individual numbers.
