A comparison between the properties of subatomic particles is being done below:
Both protons and neutrons have the same mass - much larger than the relatively tiny electron, whose mass is in fact negiligible. (It is 1/1833 times)
Both protons and electrons have an electrical charge. Both have the same size of the electrical charge, but the proton is positive and the electron is negative. The neutron is neutral.
The table summarises these differences in properties.
