Dear Student
When DC current passing through a wire there will be magnetic field arround the live wire .
Let us say current passing in to the PC screen then then the magnetic field will be totating in clochwise ritation.
For a live line if you see it from side field looks as shown in the image.
I you are looking at a solenoid through itw axis and current padding in clockwise direction. field eill be as shown in the above image. So , inside the solemoid field will be going in.
