Since the resistances ,R1=4ohm and R2 = 6ohm ,are connected in parallel,
The net resistance (R')=> 1/R' = 1/R1 + 1/R2 => R' = 4x6 / (4+6) = 2.4ohm
The cells are connected in series .Therefore their voltages gets added = 2+2 = 4V
a) The ammeter gives the value of the current (I) in the circuit .I = Voltage / resistance = 4V / 2.4ohm = 1.66A
b) Power = Voltage x current = 4V x 1.66 = 6.64V
