Using the theorem, tangents from an external point are equal.

we have, AM = AN

BM = BL   .............(1)

CL = CN. ................(2)

Now it is given that AB = AC

i.e AM + BM = AN + CN

Therfore BM = CN

So, from (1) and (2), we get

BL = LC.

i.e L bisects the side BC.
