CHARGE DENSITY

Expert Answer:

Charge density is the charge distribution over the volume of a particle, a molecule, or an atom. The charge density decreases as we move down the group while increase along a period.
Therefore, a sodium cation will carry a higher charge density than a potassium cation due to its smaller ionic radius.
