Can X-rays be deflected by gravitational force ? If yes, how?

Expert Answer:

x - rays consist of photons which are massless entities. so x - rays are unaffected by gravitational force.

But according to special theory of relativity, photons moving with very high speed are not massless. Gravitational force due to black hole can deflect the these photons.
