s,
p,
d,
f.
The s-orbital is spherical. It's the simplest one.
The p-orbital is dumbbell shaped. It's a bit trickier.
The d-orbital looks like 4 balloons around a point.
The f-orbital looks like an amorphous blob.
The s orbital holds 2 electrons, the p orbital holds 6 electrons. The d orbital holds 10 electrons. Tthe f orbital holds 14 electrons. pretend like theyy are 4 circles inside of eachother. when the first circle gets full we move on to another.
