answered-by-expert Expert Answer
The Left hand rule is used to predict the motion of the current carrying wire placed in magnetic field.
The current in the wire induces magnetic field and the induced magnetic field will react with the magnetic field of magnet results into force experienced by the wire and results into the motion of wire.
Point thumb straight out , use the first finger to point to the direction of magnetic field . Second finger for the direction of current then thumb will point to the direction of force experienced by wire.
