Can I know how DNA copying and errors in DNA occur?

Expert Answer:

Hi, DNA copying is also called as replication in which the double stranded DNA having complementary base pairs should be separated as single strands by the enzyme helicase. DNA polymerase copies each strand because a polymerase can only work along the strand in one direction (5' to 3'). Due to insertion or deletion of the nucleotides in the base pairing, errors occur.
