can a pendulum oscillate in an artificial satellite???

Dear student
 
An atrifical satellite constitutes a freely falling body.
Hence the effective g inside a satellite is zero.
Since g proportional to ,  so if g = 0, its time period becomes infinite. That is the pendulum will not oscillate. Or in other words it will oscillate with a time period of infinity.
