1 mole of N2 = 28 g
Hence, 14 g N2 = 0.5 mole
1 mole of N2 = 6.023 x 1023 molecules of N2
0.5 mole of N2 = 0.5 mole of N2 x 6.023 x 1023 molecules of N2
= 3.012 x 1023 molecules of N2
1 molecule of N2 contains 14 electrons
3.012 x 1023 molecules of N2 contain 14 x 3.012 x 1023 electrons
3.012 x 1023 molecules of N2 contain 42.161 x 1023 electrons
Thus, 14 g N2 contains 42.161 x 1023 electrons.
