Expert Answer:
Dear Student
Molecular Wt of Al2O3 is = 101.96
So, in 101.96 g = 1 mol of Al2O3 = 2 mol Al3+
So, in 0.051 g there will be number of moles of Al2O3 = 0.051/101.9614 = 0.0005 mol
1mol Al2O3 contains 2mol Al.
So, Mol Al = 0.0005 x 2 = 0.001 mol Al
1mol Al3+ contains = 6.022 x 1023 ions.
0.001mol contains = 6.022 x 1023 x 0.001 = 6.022 x 1020 ions
We hope that clarifies your query.

So, Mol Al = 0.0005 x 2 = 0.001 mol Al
1mol Al3+ contains = 6.022 x 1023 ions.
0.001mol contains = 6.022 x 1023 x 0.001 = 6.022 x 1020 ions
