Molarity = no of moles/volume in litre
Mole fraction of ethanol =no. of moles of ethanol / (no. of moles of ethanol)+(no. of moles of water)--------(1)
Mole fraction of water =no. of moles of water / (no. of moles of ethanol)+(no. of moles of water)---(2)
mole fraction of water = 1- .040
=.060
dividing eq(1) by (2)
.040 / .060= no. of moles of ethanol/55.5
no of moles of ehanol=37
molarity = 37/1
=37moles/lit
