If we take a thin paper, hold it along one edge as the other side bends downward, and blow air with sufficient energy over the paper, then we see that the paper is lifted.
Similarly in a sprayer or aspirator, as we press along the plunger, air is pushed at high velocity, which then creates a region of low pressure into which the sprayer fluid flows.
