For determining the magnetic field due to a finite wire, we use Biot –Savart law. But, Ampere’s circuital law is an alternative way of expressing Biot- Savart law. This is similar to the relation between Gauss’s law and Coulomb’s law. So, Biot- Savart law is also known as Ampere’s theorem.

As we know, work done by Magnetic force is always zero in moving a charged particle./So it cannot change speed of charged particle. MY doubt is that, can magnetic force change direction of motion of charged particle?
