Let the roots be p and q.

A.M. of the roots is A.

p+q/2 = A

So, sum of roots = p+q = 2A

and G.M. of the roots is G.

root (pq) = G

So, product of its roots = pq = G2

So, the required quadratic equation is:

x 2 - 2Ax + G2 = 0
