Thanks for asking us a question in Ask the Expert section of TopperLearning.com.
In case of multiple questions within a query, please post each question individually.
However, answer to your first question is,
(I)
a) Ca(OH)2 + 2 HNO3 → Ca(NO3)2 + 2 H2O
b) 2 Al(s) + 3 CuCl2(aq) → 2 AlCl3(aq) + 3 Cu(aq)
c) FeSO4(g) + 3CuCl2 (aq) → Fe2O3(s) + SO3(g) - Incorrect reaction. There is no Cu or Cl in product side.
Did you mean-FeSO4 = Fe2O3 + SO2 + SO3 ?
d) NaOH + H2SO4 → BaSO4 + 2HCl - Incorrect reaction.
Did you mean- BaCl2+H2SO4 → BaSO4 + HCl? Then the correct balanced equation is: BaCl2 + H2SO4 → BaSO4 + 2HCl.
(II)
a) Mg(s) + Cl2(g) → 2 MgCl
The reaction type is combination or synthesis
b) TiCl4(l) + 2 Mg(s) → Ti(s) + 2 MgCl2(s)
The reaction type is single displacement
c) This equation is already balanced CaO(s) + SiO2(s) → CaSiO3(s)
The reaction type is combination or synthesis
The reaction type is combination or synthesis
