Hi dear,

4. point is right.

Statement 2 is true. Both have the same accelaration.

Please see the figure below. Both the monkey and the weights are pulled downwards by their own weights and pulled upwards by the rope with equal forces. Now, it is in euqilibrium. Neither the monkey nor the weight move. Also, the monkey balances the weight , so they don't move. Hope this helped.
