Askash sold plot to vekas at 20% gain.Vikas sold is to Vishal with 10%profit.if the amount paid by Vishal for land is Rs.660000, then find the cost price for Aakash.

Let the cost price for Akash be Rs. x.
Askash sold plot to vekas at 20% gain.
Hence, Selling price of Akash = 120x/100
Vikas sold is to Vishal with 10%profit.
Hence, selling price for Vikas = 120x/100 × 10x/100 = 12x/100
According to the quetsion,
120x/100 + 12x/100 = 660000
x = Rs. 500000
Hence, the cost price for Akash is Rs. 500000.
