As the image formed on the retina of our eye is real, inverted and diminished then how can we guess the actual length or height of the object formed on our retina? Please explain.

When light rays fall on the sensory cells of retina (rods and cones), they get activated and generate electrical signals. These electrical signals are then sent to the brain by the optic nerve. The brain interprets the signals and renders the erect image of the object, and the actual length or height of the image is judged by the brain.
Hope this helps
