are we supposed to arrange the instruments required for an electric circuit in order or any how ?

Yes, while connecting instruments in an electrical circuit, you need to take care of the + and - terminal of each instrument. Positive terminal of a battery needs to be connected to the positive terminal of the instrument and negative terminal of the battery to the negative terminal of the instrument.
