Expert Answer
to findthe nth term in an aap we can use the formulae
nth term=first term+(n-1)d where d=common difference
a ,x1 ,x2,b are in ap
so there are 4 terms and b=a+3(x2-x1)
x2-x1=(b-a)/3
simillarly a,y1,y2,y3,b are in ap and here total 5terms ,so b=a+4(y2-y1)
y2-y1=(b-a)/4
now , (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) =(b-a)/4/(b-a)/3 = 3/4 answer
