Dear Student

Say velocity of speed in Air , glass , in x  medium are    Va , Vg and Vx

Given that

Vx/Vg= 1.55

Va/Vx= x

==> x=Va/(Vg 1.55)

With out knowing Vg it is not possibe to find X
