Answer to your first query is given below:
(a) unequal, polar
A polar covalent bond is formed between two atoms of different elements having different electronegativities, the atom with a higher value of electronegativity tries to pull the shared pair of electrons to a greater extent towards itself as compared to the atom with lower value of electronegativity.
(b)middle, equally
A non-polar covalent bond is formed between two similar atoms i.e. atoms having the same values of electronegativity, the pull of the two atoms on the shared pair is equal and the shared pair lies exactly in the middle of the nuclei of the two atoms.
