This is a logcal reasoning based problem.
An insect crawls 10 cm in the first second.
It falls down 4 cm at the second second.
Overall the insect moved (10 - 4) = 6 cm in 2 seconds.
Now you can find the time taken by the insect to cover 90 cm rod.
