an electric heater draws a current of 40 ampere when 60 volt potential diffrence is applied.what will be the current when p.d is increased to 120 volts?can i solve this question by formula P=VI?

As the other things remain constant, so as the pd is doubled,current will also get doubled according to Ohm's law. If pd increase then the power will obviously increase ....so we can not apply p=vi as on increasing pd other two of the variables will be changing .
