An ant crawls around the edge of a leaf, can you measure the distance covered by the ant ? Clearly document the process you adopt and find the measurement .

Trace the path travelled by ant on leaf.
Place the leaf on the graph paper and draw the outline of the leaf up to which the ant has crawled along the edge of the of the leaf.
Then remove the leaf and count the number of square along the outline of leaf. The number of sqaure count will give the distance travelled by ant on the edge of the leaf. (E
