Two bodies A and B having masses 2 kg and 4kg respectively are separated by 2m. Where should a body of mass 1kg placed so that the gravitational force on this body due to bodies A and B is zero?
The point has to be such the gravitaional force on 1 kg due to 2 kg at a dustance of x m should be equal to gravitational force between 1 kg and 4 kg at a distance of 2-x metre.
Equate the two expressions and calculate for x.
