Ages of sonu and monu are in ratio 2:3 after 12 years there ages will be ratio 11:15 . What is present age of monu ?

Let the age of Sonu and Manu is 2x and 3x repectively.
 
According to the condition,
 
(2x + 12):(3x + 12) = 11 : 15
begin mathsize 16px style fraction numerator 2 straight x space plus space 12 over denominator 3 straight x space plus space 12 end fraction equals 11 over 15 rightwards double arrow 15 open parentheses 2 straight x space plus space 12 close parentheses space equals space 11 open parentheses 3 straight x space plus space 12 close parentheses rightwards double arrow 30 straight x space plus space 180 space space equals space 33 straight x space plus space 132 rightwards double arrow 3 straight x space equals space 48 rightwards double arrow straight x space equals space 16 space end style
Therefore the present age of Monu = 3(16) = 48 years.
