After 12 years, kanwar shall be 3 times as old as he was 4 years ago. Find his present age.

Let,
the present age of Kanwar = x years
According to the condition,
x + 12 = 3(x - 4)
Therefore,
x + 12 = 3x - 12
24 = 2x
x = 12 years.
