First of all understand the basis of classification. Then only start with the classification.
Making notes is an essential part of this topic. Tackle only one kingdom each day. Then revise it the next day and if you have completely understood the topic, only then go to the next kingdom. If you are not thorough with the first kingdom, do not start with the next one. Constant revision is essential to fix the topic in your mind.
In case of kingdoms Plantae and Animalia, there are several sub-divisions. Take up only 2 or 3 sub-divisions each day. Start with a new topic only when you are completely thorough with all the previous ones. Recollecting and revising everyday is a must.
In addition, comparing the features of the different kingdoms brings about a greater clarity in the topic. Tabulate the differences pointwise.
Examples and diagrams should also be remembered.
