Accuracy is the quality of being near to the true value. It could be the number of significant figures in a measured value.
Precision is the preciseness and it is the quality of being reproducible in amount or performance.

Accuracy is closely related to precision, also called reproducibility or repeatability, the degree to which further measurements or calculations show the same or similar results.[1]
