The coin falls at the same position because the coin has two direction of motion one is the downward due to gravity and the other equal to the velocity of train.
so it moves exacly the same difference as you on the train so that there is no relative motion between you and the coin in the direction of motion of train. However if suddeny the train accelerates or stop the coil will have a motion in backward or forward direction respectively with respect to you.
Yes the flies cant move that fast but they might have been in a rain before it started moving so they technically have more velocity that a running train in the forward direction and so does a man moving in the forward directio in arunning train will have, with respect to the stationalry ground outside.
