Hello,
If we need to find out the limit of the function at extremities than we can not apply limit from both sides because at the other side of the extremity the function may not be defined the same way.
For example, if a certain function f (x) is defined or 0<x<1.
then for the limit of the function at x =1 , you will use left hand limit,
and when finding the limit at x =0 , you will use right hand limit!
