A uniform glass tube is bent into u shape as shown in figure . Water is poured into the tube until it stands 10 cm high in each tube. Benzene (specific gravity = 0.879) is then added slowly to yhe tube on the right until the water rises 4 cm higher on the left .What is the length of the column of benzene when the final situation is reached ?
