A train is travelling on a curve of 700m radius at 14 km/hr.Through what angle will it turn in one minute

Distance covered by the train in 1 hour = 14km Hence, to convert it into m/s we multiply 14 km/hr by 5/18. we get distance traveled by the train i.e. length of the arc = 35/9 m/s = 700/3 m in 1 minute. the radius of this segment = 700m. Hence, using the formula , length of the arc = theta/360 x 2 x pi x radius Solving this we get, the angle traveled by the train as 19.1 degrees.
