Slope of line AB = fraction numerator negative 2 minus left parenthesis negative 4 right parenthesis over denominator 5 minus 2 end fraction equals 2 over 3
Equation of line AB is given by
y minus left parenthesis negative 4 right parenthesis equals 2 over 3 left parenthesis x minus 2 right parenthesis rightwards double arrow 3 left parenthesis y plus 4 right parenthesis equals 2 left parenthesis x minus 2 right parenthesis rightwards double arrow 2 x minus 3 y minus 16 equals 0
Now,
2 left parenthesis K plus 3 right parenthesis minus 3 left parenthesis K minus 4 right parenthesis minus 16 equals 0 2 k plus 6 minus 3 k plus 12 minus 16 equals 0 minus k plus 2 equals 0 k equals 2
