a stone of mass 2kg is falling from a certain height. find the force of attraction between the earth and the stone.also find its acceleration.....

The force of attraction can be found out by:
F = G Mm/(R+h)2
 
where R = radius of earth
M = mass of earth
m = mass of stone
h = height of stone
G = Gravitational constant
 
And gravitational acceleration can be found out by:
g = F/m
   = GM/(R+h)2
   = GM/R2    (since h is very small as compared to R)
