a stone is dropped from a height h .it travels a distance of h/3 in the last second of its journey to ground . find the time of fall to the ground .

in the last second v = 0
u = ?
g = 9.8 m/s2
t = 1second
v = u + at
0 = u + 9.8 * 1
u = 9.8 m/s
When it is dropped from height h ,
its u = 0
v = 9.8 m/s
g = 9.8
t = ?
v = u + at
9.8 = 9.8 *t
t = 1 second
So , total time taken = 2 seconds.
